MGC @ KU
We, as Multicultural Greek Organizations, have joined together to form the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at The University of Kansas, in order to better service the needs and desires of our members, have a voice for issues of concern and promote Greek unity on campus. As culturally based organizations, we strive to promote and uplift our common heritage and history. As a council, we provide a safe space for underrepresented students and intentional programming to the member organizations. These organizations all strive to benefit the KU community through philanthropy and community service while celebrating the diverse identities of their members.
The Multicultural Greek Council at The University of Kansas was officially chartered on August 27th, 2010. The founding chapters are Mu Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc., Associate Chapter of Lambda Phi Epsilon International Fraternity, Inc., and Delta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc.
